My Girl

Pink, Pink, Pink.  I am really not a 'pink' person and I don't normally include alot of pink in my scrapbooking pages, but..
This month on Scrap the Girls -  http://scrap-the-girls.blogspot.com/  - the challenge is:

PINK AS THE DOMINANT COLOUR
MULTIPLE PICS
POLKA DOTS

So here is Annabelle with her winter beanie on, on a nice warm September day.  That's My Girl.

I love the effect stamping paint with Bubble wrap has - I think I will have to try that again sometime.  I also used a pen lid to stamp the paint dots around the edge.

Catch Up

Wow,
I can't believe it is November already.  I have been doing supply teaching a couple of days each week this term and everything else has gone by the wayside - including scrapping. I have had a couple of hours over the last couple of weekends and I thought I would share my creations with you.

First up is a layout created using a sketch from Challenge Haven, using Crate Paper's Toy Box Collection.  Fyn at 4 months sleeping on the 'lounge'.  It must be a guy thing, being able to sleep sitting up in the lounge, I know my husband and my dad are great at it.

My second layout is of Annabelle and her Scooter.  'When I get big I will Ride my Scooter to School' - she says this every time she gets on it.  Love the pose.  I used Echo Park's Summer Days Collection.
That's all for now, thanks for stopping by.

Fyn's Name Plate

Hello Again,
It has been quite a while since my last post, but my computer was blocking me from signing in to Google, apparently it was unsafe??  Everything seems to have fixed itself now though.

I thought I would share with you the name thing I created for my little boy's room.  I have used the Kaisercraft Party Animal Papers and some chipboard accents from Crate Paper Toy Box Range plus some Scrapware Chipboard.

I've covered the whole thing with Mod Podge so hopefully it will stay together.
Anyway got to go - Fyn has a cold at the moment and seems to sleep best when in my arms. Yay.

Pop's Tractors

Another layout of my baby boy Fyn, playing with his Tractors.  Pop has given all his grandchildren a tractor for either their first Christmas or when they were born.  He was only 6 weeks old here, but I thought I would give him something to look at during Tummy Time.

Scrap the Girls - August Challenge

The Scrap the Girls August Challenge is a quote challenge.  The following quote must either be used as a Title or in Journalling.  The site and info can be found here.  http://scrap-the-girls.blogspot.com/

Children need love, especially when they do not deserve it. ~Harold Hulbert

This layout features Annabelle after she had drawn a Tiger face on herself with her markers.  I think she did a pretty good job, not using a mirror.  Her inspiration came from an event a few days before and can be seen in the bottom left corner.

If I did the layout again, I would probably use a less busy patterned paper, but I quite like how the transparency framed the main picture.  I have a bit of a shadow in the photo of my layout, so it looks a bit weird.

Scrap the Boys - August Challenge

This layout is of my baby boy Fynlay.  He is about 11 weeks old here and is a big smiler.  He will flash this cute grin to anyone who stops to say hello.  The layout was created for the Scrap the Boys August Challenge which gave the following picture as inspiration.  See http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com/2011/08/august-challenge-at-scrap-boys.html   As you can see, I went with stripes and bold primary (& green) colours.  The row of lights inspired the eyelets around the outside and the Ferris Wheel gave me the idea for the pinwheels.

Thanks ladies for such an inspiring blog site.

Why not?

Hey, I thought I would give it a go.  Everyone else is doing it, so why not me?  I thought this would be a good place to share my scrapbooking pages (and of course enter some competitions) and in that way share what matters to me.
